This species of robust cockroach from South America stands out among other members of the Eublaberus genus, particularly due to its striking appearance as an adult. While related species tend to be more uniform in color, adult E. marajoara boast contrasting and intriguing wing coloration that, combined with the distinct pattern on their pronotum, creates a very aesthetic look. It is a calm, substrate-dwelling species that, thanks to its resilience and visual appeal, makes an excellent addition to any invertebrate collection.
