Aquamin

Aquamin is biologically active calcium obtained by extracting dead calcified seaweed Lithothamnion calcareum in the North Atlantic Ocean. The algae is not only rich in calcium and magnesium, but also contains more than 70 other minerals and trace elements. The calcium in Aquamine is in the form of so-called polymorphic calcium and has a porous structure similar to a honeycomb. Thanks to this, it is better absorbed.
Aquamin can be used like more common calcium sources for lizards, amphibians, turtles, snails, millipedes, centipedes, mammals, birds... The powder is very fine and therefore very adhesive to feeding insects and other food. Aquamin is added at every feeding. For chicks and females during the laying period, ideally a larger quantity.
Quality characteristics per 1 kg: calcium 325 g, magnesium 24 g, sulphur 2 g, sodium 1.3 g, phosphorus 0.6 g, iron 0.5 g, fluorine 200 mg, manganese 99 mg, boron 30 mg, iodine 4 mg, nickel 4 mg, zinc 3 mg, molybdenum 2 mg, copper 2 mg, cobalt 2 mg, selenium 1 mg
