Achatina weynsi is an attractive species with variable striping on the shell. As stripes could be tin or very broad, snails could be light or also very dark. Apex is usually of purple colour. Keeping this snail in captivity is without problems but the breeding is, as in other species of genus Achatina, rare. You can find available snails HERE

LANDSNAILS.ORG logo got updated

Thanks to my friend Max, the logo for LANDSNAILS.ORG has been redesigned. I think it looks great. What do you think? Do you like it? Of course, it is possible to use this logo also in unicolour black or white as the old logo, but the coloured version is the best I think. I will add this new logo to the e-shop and other places soon.

It is the biggest snail egg I ever seen. It is 36 mm big! It was not buried and it was just laying in the box. I hope it will hatch.
