Snail kits are specific in that they must maintain a higher humidity. Therefore, choose boxes or terrariums that have fewer ventilation holes and choose lignocellulose as a substrate, which retains moisture well and does not mould. Each breeding box should also include a source of calcium, which is essential for good shell growth.
