Mrs. Nataša Velenská, who is in charge of reptiles at the Prague Zoo, has written another book dedicated to one of the favourite terrarium animals, the green iguana. There is no separate publication about this species in Czech yet. Iguanas are not at all undemanding animals, they require a lot of care and need a large living space in adulthood. They require some humidity, like to swim, need good quality green food and a source of heat and UV radiation. They require regular attention in order to be domesticated. But more information can be found inside this book. The book is clearly divided into chapters, and attention is given to basic care, breeding, raising young, possible complications in breeding, relationship to humans, biology of the species, etc... Both beginners and experienced breeders will find their own here.
