Coconut chips

Coconut chips are made from the coconut shell and chopped into 1 - 4 cm pieces. It can hold water very well and so it is great soil for your breeding tank. You can use it alone or mix it with other soils. It is also very good part of the orchid or other epiphyte plants soil. Due to bigger particles size it does not stick to animals food so it is safe for wide range of terrarium animals. It is better to place it only on part of the tank soil for land snails and put normal coconut soil to the rest for better digging.
