Umbrella Pine Bark

Supplementary soil for your terrariums with snails and other animals. It keeps the water very well and in this way sustain high humidity in the box or terrarium. It could be problematic for snails to dig and lay clutch in this soil so it is better to use it only for part of the floor and put lignocel or terrarium soil for humid terrariums to the rest. We can use both the finer bark but also much coarser bark in combination with smaller species to create a very differentiated environment for them. Pine bark is also great soil for turtles, lizards, snakes and other invertebrate terrarium animals. The bark is also often used soil or part of the soil mix for orchids, bromeliads, ferns, cactuses, bonsai and other plants.
