Gammarus

Dried small crustacean gammarus is suitable as a natural supplementary food for aquatic turtles, lizards, tadpoles, invertebrates (shrews, snails, cockroaches...) and other terrarium animals. It can also be given to undergrowth terrestrial turtles, birds, insectivores or small rodents. It is considered one of the best feeds due to its nutritional values and high carotene content. It contains high quality proteins (48.2%), fats (6.2%) and minerals (especially calcium) necessary for the natural growth of the shell and bones. It promotes animal growth and increases the intensity of rearing. Dried gammarus floats on the surface and sinks only after the shell has been disturbed.
