Trachylepis dichroma is a medium-sized robustly built scink from East Africa. It is a diurnal social species, so we can keep a male and one or more females in one terrarium. Females give birth to up to over ten young and we can let them hatch in the terrarium with the breeding group. It is an undemanding lizard that accepts dead animal matter such as meat, canned cat food, fish, etc. in addition to insects. A UVB bulb is necessary for this species.
