Archachatina degneri (Giant Gold Coast Snail) is bigger species which is close related and very similar to Archachatina puylaerti. Difference is in shell shape where A. degneri is more elongated and also color of the shell is usually brown without any trace of green colour. For now any albino body or shell forms are not known from this species as in close related species A. puylaerti and A. purpurea.
