The Limicolaria family contains a large number of species, mostly small to medium in size (4 - 9 cm). Most species are partially arboreal and can therefore be offered branches or other options for climbing in the breeding box, but breeding is also possible in a low breeding tank. Breeding of most species is very easy if we get the captive bred young. Imported snails are usually problematic and do not survive in captivity for long periods of time. Eggs are always hard, calcareous, and smaller in size, numbering several dozen per clutch. They prefer cucumber, lettuce and other vegetables as food. Temperatures and humidity are maintained similar to other genera of this family.
