Macrochelys temminckii

Alligator snapping turtle is one of the biggest fresh water turtle and probably the heaviest one. They are sit and wait predator so they are usually sitting on the floor of the pond or river and waiting for the pray to go to them. They are easy to keep in captivity and they don´t need so big tank as they are not moving a lot.
