Kinosternon leucostomum postinguinale Nicaragua

The White-lipped Mud Turtle is a smaller freshwater turtle with a nicely coloured head. The carapace is usually dark. In breeding it is trouble-free and very voracious. You can feed it anything from various invertebrates, to meat, to pellets. Due to its smaller size, they are not demanding on the size of the breeding tank. Since it is a carnivore, they don´t need UVB radiation either.
