Geochelone elegans

Indian Star Tortoise is one of the most colourfull tortoise in the world. Dou to its small adult size it is a great species for indoor keeping. They are more sensitive towards lower temperatures so it is better to keep them outside only during warm weather or keep them in the indoor tank whole time. In captivity you can keep them same as other tortoises but they like more humidity. They need access to UVB lighting and feeding in the forms of grasses and leaves.
